Flutter Photo is the combined enterprise of photographers, Alejo Pesce and Theresa Monturano who bring together passion and expertise to create beautiful images that celebrate life's milestones.

Our belief is that with a bit of forethought and careful approach, the resulting imagery is both evocative and timeless...giving our clients something worth cherishing.

Our base camp is in Reston Virginia, just minutes from DC. This puts us within an easy drive to Baltimore and Richmond. Dulles Intermantional Airport is also just a short cab ride away and so the world is fair game when it comes to weddings. So far we have photographed weddings in such distant lands as India, Canada, Mexico, and California and are happy to jump on a plane to your destination wedding.

Alejo Pesce has been a student of photography since elementary school, when he began to learn the technical aspects of the camera. Years later, he studied photography at the University of South Dakota. Upon graduation, he moved to Virginia and began a 3 year career in camera sales and photo development. He then relocated to DC and worked as a photographer's assistant, until starting work as a photo researcher, where he learned to recognize the value of commercial photography. His past experience has culminated into a 8 year career as a fine art wedding photographer. "I believe that my skills are best utilized in this challenging field of photography. I have the disposition and energy to negotiate the challenges of photography the wedding day can present."

Theresa Monturano is business-minded artist who draws from her 7 years of experience as a sales operations director in the stock photography industry. "Being surrounded by creatives, beautiful imagery and brilliant photographers everyday inspired my creative side, I bought my first SLR and the rest is the beginning." Now onto her third SLR camera, she is focused and motivated to run and make Flutter Photo successful. She also contributes as a skilled photographer, confident and engaging, she quickly gets people to let their guard down and relax in front of the camera.
